There are various spaces on the first floor of the Ajou University library. These spaces include a multimedia room, a central garden, and an adjoining lounge. Have you seen the small space next to the security office? Previously a community lounge, it is a newly remodeled Smart Lounge.
The Smart Lounge is an open lounge with Vroom and TProject capabilities. Access to open lounge does not require a reservation, and when using the Smart Board, students can contact the desk guide in the lounge. Students can also use Virtual Reality (VR) devices with a total of two Vrooms. SmartBoards are avaiable in TProject which is useful for team projects or presentation practice. Vroom and TProject can be used by making a reservation through the library website or the library mobile application. For TProject, a minimum of 4 to 6 people can use the room, and the maximum daily usage duration is 2 hours. Vroom can be used by up to 4 people at once for up to 50 minutes per day. If symptoms such as dizziness or vomiting occur while using the VR device, usage should be stopped immediately. If students do not authenticate within 10 minutes of the reservation time, the reservation is automatically canceled. The open lounge is available from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays, and Vroom and TProject are available from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays. How about using the newly remodeled Smart Lounge to work on a team project in the near future?
