[On campus] Are You Looking for a Club?

It has already been a while since school started, but it is difficult to enjoy campus life because of COVID-19. The Ajou Globe (The AG) requests from clubs to introduce them. The AG would like to inform you that all clubs follow the governmentโ€™s COVID-19 guidelines. For additional information about each club, please visit https://instagram.com/ajou_club.union.


1) ATC

ATC teaches offers tennis classes every Tuesday and Thursday according to each memberโ€™s individual abilities, from beginner courses to in-depth education for skilled players. ATC conducts regular exchanges with other universities and participates in various events and competitions.


2) Harmony

Harmony is a โ€œHuman Rights Club for the Disabledโ€ where both disabled and non-disabled Ajou University students can come together to plan and work toward increasing their awareness about and improving the system of the disabled, both on campus and abroad. We are planning activities such as discussions and mentoring activities related to the human rights of persons with disabilities through online meetings.


3) EUREKA

EUREKA is an invention club that comes up with creative ideas to solve societal problems and realizes them. Currently, we hold regular online meetings every 1 to 2 weeks. All you need is a passion for invention.


4) Ajou Teiro

Ajou Teiro is a jiujitsu club, which conducts Jujitsu classes and exercises regularly in accordance with the COVID-19 policies for indoor sports facilities. In addition, we often hold online meetings without a fixed schedule to strengthen the bond of our members.


5) CAPO

CAPO is a volunteer club that provides music-related services, such as talent donations. As a music club, we regularly hold music performances. Regular club performances are divided into groups based on the club membersโ€™ sessions. We also upload our performance videos online.


6) Dong Dong Jou

Dong Dong Jou is an active volunteer club. We have no restrictions regarding the fields you can volunteer in (e.g., education, environment, art, culture, etc.), so you can definitely enjoy planning activities in areas that are in line with your interests and expertise. Our activities change every year, and we currently hold our meetings online.


7) Masterpiece

Masterpiece is a dance cover club, which is made up of people who love dancing. Members who choose the same song will form a team, and each team must accordingly create choreography and record a performance video. Ideally, we practice for a total of four hours, twice a week, but this may vary depending on the COVID-19 situation.


8) Dol Beot

Dol Beot is a game of Go club. Many people know โ€œGoโ€ through AlphaGo, and there is a common misconception that it is difficult or most people think that it is difficult to play. Our club has students of various skill levels, from novice to expert players, and we invite professional Go players to give lectures twice every semester. Currently, due to COVID-19, we irregularly go to the go house or board game cafรฉs.


9) BEAT

BEAT is the only hip-hop and street dance club at Ajou University. The organizes and participates in various events, such as dance battles and cyphers, and interacts with other universities. BEAT exists for students who enjoy hip-hop culture and have a passion for dancing, regardless of their skills. The genres we focus on are hip-hop, girls hip-hop, waacking, house, b-boying, and poppinโ€™.


10) 2.5g

2.5g is a table tennis club, and we offer training for beginners. We also interact with table tennis clubs from other universities. We get together twice a week, and the club is not active during the exam period.
